So my farewells are starting to begin now. I've gone to lunch with my band director and I'll be going to dinner with my piano instructor this week. My pastor put an announcement about Mike and I in the bulletin last Sunday. I knew he was going to, but I forgot about it on the day of. It took me awhile to figure out why so many people were coming up to me to wish me luck.
It is only 18 days till entrance. I've been catching up on letters and I'm trying to get more LEGO pics on the other blog. How's this one look?

Mom and I did a lot of work in the yard. It's a lot different without the trees in the front. it's kind of hard to see from the third picture, but we basically pulled 1/3 of the vines up and planted 2 rose bushes, 1 crepe myrtle, 1 azalea, and a few flowers. The finished result looks pretty good, but it did a number on my hand. I've had some mild attacks of carpal tunnel syndrome before, but this time it was really bad. I slept with a brace on my hand/wrist. It doesn't help that the difficulty is aggravated by playing the piano, the violin, the guitar, and using drum sticks; by fencing, typing, writing, and using a computer mouse; and by using a hoe, a shovel, a mattock, pruning clippers, and a sledge hammer. Thankfully, it has gotten better as the day has progressed. :)
